Well stated...also check out the article about health care in today's Express News showing how government intervention increases costs. Regardless of Texas' high rate of uninsured, where is the investigative reporting of who has been denied coverage or service if they applied for it? Perhaps a portion of the Texas population has made a decision to not have coverage, in the same manner that my employees can opt-out of coverage offered by the company. Health insurance will become the new 'company car', a perk that was once offered (driving the auto industry to new heights in the 70's & 80's), but no longer offered by many companies. It has been eliminated or reduced to mileage reimbursement or if you are lucky a car allowance.
